The Oregon Center for the Arts hosts the Southern Oregon University Percussion Festival featuring guest artist/clinician Bonnie Whiting. High school and middle school soloists and ensembles will perform and receive feedback from Whiting, and she will also perform with Terry Longshore and the Southern Oregon University Percussion Ensemble.
Bonnie Whiting performs, commissions, and composes new experimental music for percussion. She seeks out projects involving non-traditional notation, interdisciplinary performance, improvisation, and the speaking percussionist. Read more here…
