SOU Percussion Ensembles present “…to South: Celebración de la hermandad”

The Southern Oregon University Percussion Ensembles, directed by Terry Longshore, closes their yearly them of “From North: Rugged Landscapes…to South: Celebración de la hermandad” featuring music from the U.S. and Mexico. The concert celebrates the 50th anniversary of the sister university relationship between Southern Oregon University and the University of Guanajuato. We will be joined by Ivan Manzanilla and the University of Guanajuato Percussion Ensemble, and Dana Reason and the Oregon State University Improvisors Collective! Also performing are multi-media artists David Bithell and Roberto Morales.
