Percussion solo—Chinese crash cymbals, hi-hat, and jing cymbals
Multiple timbres, textures, and polyrhythmic patterns are explored in this
exciting solo for various cymbals. Jing cymbals and hi-hats played with the
feet (using 2 hi-hat stands) while the soloist utilizes a variety of hand techniques
with the Chinese crash cymbals.
