Thanks to all who made it a fantastic sold-out show at Paschal Winery last Sunday! It was great fun to perform with Ian Scionti – he is such a fabulous musician! We performed music from his album “Campo Abierto” as well as Wayne Shorter’s “Infant Eyes” and a crazy bulerías version of Shorter’s “Wildflower”. Ian is based in Sevilla, Spain, and it was great to have him in Ashland for the holidays!
A huge thanks to Grant Ruiz and the Jefferson Classical Guitar Society, Ed Dunsavage and the Siskiyou Music Project, and Paschal Winery for sponsoring this event! And to Les Stansell for providing one of his beautiful guitars for Ian!
